The demo is a separate, smaller download. Buying the full game gets you everything above.
Windows: unzip the folder and run Cue Republic Demo.exe. Windows may show a blue "Windows protected your PC" box, because the demo is not yet signed: choose More info, then Run anyway.
Linux: unpack it and run ./cue-republic-demo from the folder.
macOS, on Apple silicon only: experimental. It is built on a Mac and started there as part of our testing, but nobody has played it through on one yet. It is not notarised by Apple, so macOS will warn you: unpack it, then right-click the app and choose Open; if macOS still refuses, allow it under System Settings, Privacy & Security.
The demo needs a graphics card with up-to-date drivers. It picks its own graphics settings the first time it runs.

The game times your PC the first time it runs and picks its own level of detail, from Lowest to Ultra; you can change it under Settings. These figures are our estimate so far: they come from measuring the game on one PC, not from testing a range of them. A PC with no graphics card at all cannot run it.
